Souper Bowl of Caring

Sunday, February 14, 12:00 p.m.—2:00 p.m.

The Souper Bowl of Caring has been rescheduled for this Sunday. What better way to spend a few minutes of Valentine’s Day caring for your neighbors in need? We will be collecting much-needed pantry supplies for Germantown Avenue Crisis Ministry. Please stop by and safely drop off shelf-stable pantry items including pasta, rice, cereal, canned meat and fish, vegetables and of course, soup. In addition, we are collecting items for several families in PIHN’s program. Specifically, we are in need of Shop Rite, Sam’s Club, and gas gift cards (in amounts of $25 to $50) for families in PIHN’s shelter program. A family in the prevention program has lost everything and is currently in need of clothes (Mom is size 1/2 and daughter is size 5/6) and shoes (size 7 and 7.5). If you prefer, gift cards to Walmart, Target or Visa gift cards could also be used for this family.

If you are unable to drop off your donation, and would like to arrange a pickup, please contact Melissa Montgomery at melissamon70@yahoo.com and we will be happy to arrange a time. Thank you in advance and we look forward to seeing you (from a safe distance).
